Still life goes on!

I began working from home because I needed the flexibility in scheduling so that I could take care of my children. It felt that there was not enough money in the world to pull me away from my children and my responsibilities at home so that is why I began working from home. Infact I started out in a caravan, and my first pay check paid for the caravan insurance. I’ve since upgraded, but the point is it doesn’t matter where you are or what you look like. On the internet no one can see you, they judge you by your work. Maybe you are ready to start your own business or begin working for someone else. I had to struggle in the beginning and found that I was making some mistakes here and there.

I never let that stop me though. I had to learn that a person can literally apply for hundreds of jobs and maybe get accepted for one or two if they are lucky. This meant that I made looking for work my full time work, or at least until I established enough work to keep my bills paid. Although I am far from rich, I am able to live a comfortable life that allows me the freedom to attend school functions and doctors appointments when I need to. I also do not have to worry about fighting for the vacation days I want and if I get sick for an entire week there is not going to be anyone around to try to tell me that it is unacceptable.

When I first started working from home I did not have much more then a computer and a desk shoved in the corner of my bedroom. I’d never even heard of search engine optimisation, let alone paypal and ebay. Now I have an entire home office dedicated to my personal and professional work and multiple paypal accounts for different businesses. I would advise anyone that is looking into working from home that they establish the same type of quiet environment, as it is the only way to be successful with it all. Keep pushing forward as I did and continue to believe in yourself and everything will come together.

Also, if you (like me) are planning on making your living with your own home based business, you have to realize that success does not happen overnight. Also, you have to realize that a home business requires Team building. In fact, success did not happen for me for at least a few years. I actually failed many times before I started to see any success. Now, after much determination, I can say that I am making a full time living working from home. Anyone can do it if they persist and believe in what they are working for. That is all it takes to be able to work from home and make good money doing it.
