Still life goes on!

There have been paranormal investigators, in one form or another, for many years. But in the recent past it seems as though I am noticing more and more people are jumping on the bandwagon. Some people, like myself, like to investigate the paranormal as they want to uncover the truth about life after death. Now, I know what you are thinking, how weird is she? And do ghosts really exist? Aren’t they really just things made up by people to trick other people into doing or giving them certain things? Well, do you remember the case of the person in Devon who claimed on their caravan insurance based on the "ghost" that wrecked their van? Well if you don’t the twist in the tale was this, the court rules that the insurance company had to pay out. No, really it is actually a lot of fun after you get over the initial fear of it all. While there has always been such an interest, it was not until the recent airing of now popular ghost hunting shows that made it socially acceptable. Now everyone and their mother have a ghost in their house and I am out to find the truth of it all.

While it is perfectly fine for additional groups to form when they are truly looking for the truth, there are many groups forming simply because of the idea that they could become rich and famous. Wouldn’t that be nice if we could all become wealthy from ghost hunting? I am more then happy to have more people in the field as this means we all have a better chance at uncovering the truth. I haven’t made any money from my adventures and that is okay with me, but then again, I am not in it for the money. I would say I am more or less in it for the thrill of it all. I have always been a thrill seeker and adventurous kind of person and this might not be what all people are looking for, but it definitely works for me. It certainly beats my day job of trying to sell vaser lipo to people who don’t need it over the phone.

Because of the fad that ghost hunting has become, there are more people out there for the shrills and thrills that come with it then actually finding facts. There are also people who want to take pictures to enter them into photography competitions. I’m more or less into it to help people. I have found that even though this may seem as though there is no harm done, there are many families and business owners who do not receive the help they are seeking because of such groups who simply do not know how to properly conduct investigations. But I have seen too many people left frustrated because they wanted help from people that they didn’t get. My goal is to continue to research the paranormal for the right reasons and help as many people as I can.
