Still life goes on!

I’ve been part of this strange acting workshop. It is a combination of Meiser and Keith Johnston work. It’s a really nice idea, I have looked at the  concept before but now I hooked up with a bunch of guys who trying it out.

I must admit I’m finding it hard work. The main game of Meiser is to sit down and stare at each other for about half a hour whilst describing what the other person is doing. God it is boring. But I tell you what the unexpected  thing is in Impro, I’m start to really notice the other improvise. I know that sound stupid, but so much of the time improvise just ignore the other guy and try to gain the lime line. In a round about way I think this is going to be very useful.

Peter is going to drive me crazy one day, keeps asking if we can do anything extra with the botox for sweating clinic page.
I just don't think it's worth our time to… Hai Ram! No point in moaning, aye!?

Okay this is a problem that I have just been struck with we are going to see the Dance Monkey Dance show up in London. But afterward we all really want to go Karaoke. Now London Is a big city you would have though it would be easy to find somewhere to do Karaoke Especially if you have planned it in advance.

Well it isn’t. After about two hours looking this is what I have come up with:

Lucky voice

A nice place you can book rooms for 10 people in hour chunks. Nice clean and good fun, however £110 a hour yep £110 a hour, when you think that is for 10 people that doesn’t sound too bad. But either we won’t have enough people or we will have too many, plus we want it for two hours.

Karaoke Box Dai Chan

This place is much like lucky voice in it set up however it is considerable cheaper. It even seems to let you haggle!! Beware it’s more of a dive than lucky voice.

Bloomsbury Bowling

This play is quite well priced and it has the added bonus that it is a bowling alley too. How good is that. Well alright if you like giggling children hearing you belt out a metal tune. Seriously this one is a dam good choice.

Anyway we didn’t manage to agree in time, so it a street corner again.
