My weekend of fun has now come to a end. Lucky I only have to work one day a week. Since I am self employed all but one day a week so only once each week do I need to sit in a office! The strangest part is, its like having a entire week crammed into one day I crawl out of bed in the morning wishign it was till sunday and when you leave it\\\’s like the weekend is about to start..

Here are some internet odds and ends for today.

apparently I am laffy taffy what ever that is!!

I am now recovering for the party!

Filed under: General, Diary, My archive

The party was fantasic. Fraiser and Tom put loads of effort into the party.

I ended up dressing up as a mummy, mainly because I completely run out of money to buy anything else. It went down really well. Their were far better costumes my favorite was jack the ripper and his whore. The best bit was seeing all the undead doing karaoke!!

But your not here to talk about me:

Sorry Phil, if the robot says it it must be true.

Now for some new sites I have been looking at. Are you a fan of golf try out this poor internet golf game. Here is a place wear you can buy the same hats that everyone else buys but at factory prices.

But now I must go.

Europe law change to do with website accessibility.

It now law in Europe for your website to meet a certain level of accessibility.

Here is a quick tool that enable you to find out if your site lives up to the required standard.

Check your site here

The law now says that the all websites in Europe shoudl be accessible to all disabled people, so that you don\\\’t fall foul of the Disability Discrimination Act. All the details are here: Disability Discrimination Act.

I was sent this statment by someone attempting to sell their consulation service.

\\\\\\\”It only takes one complaint to the Disability Rights Commission about your website for them to start an investigation, and if they decide to proceed with legal action, you could face a huge cost not only in compensation, but also for your companys credibility.\\\\\\\”

- Anne-Laure Dupuis

Only a few website realistically need to worry about these changes in legislation. Only really large website need worry about this. Their are only a couple of orginsation that would bother to sue over this, and I doubt they woudl sue my little websites.

Anne-Laure Dupuis service isn\\\’t really fraud, it is ligimate and coul dwell be useful (by the way both of her websites don\\\’t compile). However it is attempting to scare people so that they pay for her service, quite underhand. in my opinion.

Just to complete your day how about some groovy sites I found on my travels. He\\\’s a shamless plug for a company that we work with coffee vending machines. Here is a selection of the worst short stories you have ever seen, they don\\\’t promise to be anything else, but can be quite amusing.

And it goodbye from me and goodbye from er me.

Our second open session.

Filed under: General, Diary, My archive

We are about to have open session. I invited everyone back after the last show But I don\\\’t think I did a very good job of selling it. With any luck Tom will turn up and Im fairly sure that Simon will come.

We dont have that much of a plan, which is quite sloppy, but that kinda understandable after we put so much time into the performance.

But to lighten the mood:

I love what I got out of they fight crime today:

He\\\’s a genetically engineered voodoo househusband who hides his scarred face behind a mask. She\\\’s a mistrustful streetsmart safe cracker from a secret island of warrior women. They fight crime!

Here is some other webs offerings I\\\’ve been amusing myself with. Michal has started a website for her Jewish speeddating in London have a look. Well if your bored their a huge selection of online games on lunararcade.

But now I must go.

The big Halloween bash

Filed under: General, Diary, My archive

Well my sis and her mates are converting their huge flat into the Bates Motel for one night only THIS HALLOWEEN in order to vamp it up and celebrate halloween!

I can\\\’t wait! Me, Beth and Simon are all thinking of going. the only real issue is what to wear. I was thinking something from the undead range, maybe a Ghost, Ghoul or a Mummy. We may even coordinate, that would make things easier things easier to find. I done a lot of dressing up at university, however I often over do it, it seem to be the thing at the moment, to allow people to just come dressed as a pop band or a movie star in a boring role and then I turn up on fire and everyone ignores me.

Show was good

Filed under: General, Diary, My archive

The show tied together well and people laughted! I shouldn’t have worried about the audience.

I needn’t have worried about the audience. Half of the seats we’re empty which was a little disapointing. I think the funniest line of the show was “FAILED”. SOrry I’m still hung over will fill in more detaisl tomorrow,

Still got my daily dose of webrubbish.

Pershow nerves!

Filed under: General, Diary, Silly stuff

Ahh PANIC, the show is today. Ahh and damm their are more people coming, luckly some people couldn\\\’t make it. I han\\\’t been this nervous for a long time.

But I didn\\\’t get drunk last night , which is quite a achievement for me. So Wish me Luck!

But to lighten the mood:

\\\”So I was in my car, and I was driving along, and my boss rang up and he said \\\’You\\\’ve been promoted.\\\’ And I swerved.

And then he rang up a second time and said \\\”You\\\’ve been promoted again. And I swerved again.

He rang up a third time and said \\\’You\\\’re managing director.\\\’ And I went into a tree.

And a policeman came up and said \\\’What happened to you?\\\’

And I Said \\\’I careered off the road.\\\”\\\’

- Tommy Cooper

Last but not least some cool websites I found whilst surfing. Are you a fan of golf try out this poor internet golf game. Here\\\’s a forum I have been hanging around in.

I come to a head tonight!

I sent out a memo to to everyone basically stating the point that we are being a little unproactive and to my suprise everybody kinda agreed or a the most was silent. Diane said:

“Valerie is a bit of a different kettle of seafood though - she was after all one of the founder members of the group when we formed after the comedy course”

So nothing is certain yet but we will talk more tonight. The main reason I’m beign such a pain I want them to care, I’m not to worry if she does or does not join but just letting her in because it easier than upsetting her is pathetic.

But your not here to talk about me:
